The Heyfiets target audiences are fairly different. Their team was interested to engage with their audiences to identify improvements to their website. We set-up a panel for each target audience, 1 with teenagers and another sessions with young professionals.

A powerful conversation
Samuel from HeyFiets used the 5hellos session guide to dive deeper into the answers of the survey. A great dialogue happened as the 5 panelists shared their own opinions and insights – while being inspired by other ideas which led to innovative insights.
The outcome
Pricing! The biggest obstacle for the teenagers was the still unknown price tag that HeyFiets entails. Next to that, the teenagers were all still quite dependent on their parents and this made it difficult to indicate clearly whether they would consider a subscription. But overall positive reactions. "I love the concept! it's not only nice because you get to school faster but also because you are not soaked with sweat!”
For the young professionals the overall picture was missing. The website now only consisted of general information but the price, the subscription contract, and many other things were nowhere to be found.
3 ideas to make it better!
- Create a clear cost overview: “I would need to know how much it costs as my parents are most likely to pay the monthly subscription. As they find buying an electric bicycle too expensive, this would be a great solution.”
- Give more information: “I live in the city center and bicycles are stolen a lot here. What happens if this happens to my bike. Is there a deposit?”
- Focus on SEO and user behavior: “Make sure that you are visible for your target audience and create this via SEO and by tracking your user behavior. Know how to target them as my attention was not immediately caught when visiting the website or filling in the form.”
